Transportation from Schiphol Airport to meeting venue:
We have organized direct bus transportation from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Hotel Zuiderduin. The cost is € 20.00 return. Please indicate this option on your registration form.
Alternative transportation options:
Train:
From Schiphol Airport you take the train from platform 1 or 2 to Amsterdam Sloterdijk and from there take a trains from platform 5 to Alkmaar central station. Trains depart from Schiphol Airport at 1, 10, 31 and 40 minutes passed every hour. First train is at 05:01 and the last train is at 00:31. One way train ticket costs € 7.30 and the total travel time is approx. 50 minutes to an hour. (note: times, platforms and ticket price are subject to change, please check this page again before you travel to the Netherlands).
Continue your travel by bus or taxi.
Bus:
From Alkmaar Central train station you can take bus 165 to Egmond aan Zee and depart at busstop Zeeweg (directly opposite the hotel and the conference center Zuiderduin). Cost approx. €3,-. A “strippenkaart” can be purchased at the train station which enables multiple trips by bus and tram. Cost € 6.40.
Taxi:
From Alkmaar train station you can take a taxi to Egmond aan Zee where Zuiderduin Conference Centre is located. A one way taxi fare will costs about € 20-25,-
